Family Grant From Generation Rescue

Rescue Family Grant

Generation Rescue’s goal is to introduce and help facilitate early and on-going biomedical treatment by providing the necessary resources to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families. Generation Rescue is proud to offer a grant program for treatments that may not otherwise be covered privately or by other third-party funding sources such as school districts, county programs, insurance, and/or other grant making entities.

Generation Rescue is now accepting the first 250 applications for our Rescue Family program; applications must be received by July 15, 2009. Applicants who meet the grant program criteria and complete the grant application will be considered for a Rescue Family grant. Rescue Family grants are based on economic need as defined by a percentage beneath the median income of a specific geographic area.

Grantees are awarded:

1. Physician Visit – each family will receive two visits with a New Generation Doctor. These clinicians share Generation Rescue’s ideologies, practices, and philosophies of treating the underlying medical issues of individuals with autism.
2. Supplements - a 90-day supply of supplements specifically designed for children with ASD.
3. Generation Rescue Rescue Mentor – a mentor to help guide them through the doctor visit, supplements, provide dietary training and help answer questions.

Applications must be submitted via mail no later than July 15, 2009. The first 250 applicants who meet the grant program criteria will be considered for a Rescue Family grant.
